FAQs
PHASIA is a boutique Pilates studio offering small-group Mat Pilates inspired by women's natural rhythms. Our classes combine contemporary Pilates with an understanding of how energy, recovery and movement needs can change throughout the month.
1
What is phasia?
Do I need to track my menstrual cycle to join?
2
Not at all.
PHASIA is open to all women, whether you track your cycle or not. The cycle-informed approach is there to help you better understand your body—not to make training complicated.
I don't have a regular menstrual cycle. Can I still join?
3
Absolutely.
PHASIA isn't about following a perfect 28-day cycle. Every woman's body is different, and many factors can influence how we feel from week to week.
Our approach encourages you to notice your own energy, recovery and movement needs—regardless of whether your cycle is regular or not.
I use hormonal birth control. Is PHASIA still for me?
4
Yes.
Whether you use hormonal birth control, a hormonal IUD, a copper IUD, or another form of contraception, you're very welcome at PHASIA.
Our classes focus on listening to your body as it feels today rather than assuming everyone experiences the same hormonal patterns.
What if I need to cancel a class?
5
Please review the Cancellation Policy page.
Do I need to be flexible or fit?
Not at all.
Pilates is about improving your movement—not already being good at it.
Whether you're returning to exercise or already active, you'll be encouraged to work at your own pace.
6
Is PHASIA suitable if I have an injury?
7
If you have an injury, chronic pain or a medical condition, please contact us before booking.
Pilates can often be adapted, but we'll always recommend the safest option for your individual situation.
Can I attend if I'm pregnant or recently gave birth?
8
At the moment, PHASIA classes are not designed for pregnancy or early postpartum.
Specialised classes may be introduced in the future.
What language are the classes taught in?
9
Classes are currently taught in English.
